BIENVENIDOS A LA ISLA DEL ENCANTO!

An estimated 650,000 stray dogs, known locally as "satos," roam the streets and beaches of Puerto Rico struggling to find shelter, food and water.

With only five municipal shelters for all 78 municipalities on the island, the vast majority of strays are without care.

Shelters are overwhelmed and facing a combined euthanasia rate exceeding 94%.

"Art has the power to transform a space; compassion has the power to transform a life."
